Is a 3/4" 90° Elbow the Right Fitting for This Turn?
Confirm the diameter with calipers before ordering. Three-quarter and seven-eighths tubing are close enough by eye that stripping insulation and guessing is how the wrong elbow ends up at the top of a ladder. And note the kit boundary: 3/4" is the first size that falls outside the small support kit, so if this is your first fitting above 5/8" you will need the 87049 support kit to mark the depth and to release the fitting later.
Each leg takes 1-1/2" of insertion, so allow close to two inches of clean straight tube on each approach. Neither leg is tightened — the fitting has no nuts — which puts the whole joint on cut quality and insertion depth.
