RectorSeal 87025 Pro-Fit 3/8" Quick Connect 90° Elbow, Push-to-Connect Refrigerant Fitting
The 87025 is the 3/8" member of the Pro-Fit elbow family — a fixed 90° brass fitting with a push-to-connect port on each leg, built for the diameter that appears most often on residential ductless linesets. Where a 3/8" line has to turn hard against a joist, a header, or a wall plate and there is no room to sweep it, this elbow makes the change of direction as a mechanical joint instead of a bend or a brazed ell. Each leg seats 1-1/4" of tube with no nut to tighten, holding at 870 psig with a 250°F continuous rating.
Is a 3/8" 90° Elbow the Right Fitting for This Turn?
Three-eighths tubing bends more willingly than 1/4" but still has a minimum radius, and forcing it past that radius flattens the tube and restricts the line-134a, R-290, R-410A, R-507, and R-600a.
