The Copeland EK-082S Liquid Line Filter Drier provides moisture, acid and contaminant protection for air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
Its 8-cubic-inch desiccant package helps capture moisture and acids that can damage compressors, expansion devices and other refrigerant-system components. A 20-micron final filter captures fine solid particles before they can continue circulating through the system.
The EK-082S features 1/4-inch ODF copper connections for brazed installation and a sealed steel shell with a corrosion-resistant epoxy powder-coated finish. Its compact design makes it suitable for new installations, equipment repairs and general replacement applications where a larger-capacity 1/4-inch liquid-line drier is required.
The unit is rated for a maximum working pressure of 680 PSIG and is listed for use with several common CFC, HCFC and HFC refrigerants.
