The Copeland Emerson EK-304 Liquid Line Filter Drier provides high-capacity moisture, acid and contaminant protection for commercial air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.

Its 30-cubic-inch compacted-bead desiccant package is formulated for strong water and acid-removal capacity. An initial filtration layer captures larger solid contaminants and sludge, while the 20-micron outlet filter removes finer particles before refrigerant returns to sensitive system components.

The EK-304 features 1/2-inch male SAE flare connections, eliminating the need for brazing during installation. Its shock-resistant steel shell is finished with corrosion-resistant epoxy powder coating for dependable service in demanding refrigeration applications.

The EK Series is designed as a universal replacement for common CFC, HCFC and HFC refrigerants, including R-12, R-134a, R-22, R-404A, R-407C, R-410A, R-500, R-502 and R-507. It is also approved for use with POE oils in Copeland compressor applications.
