The air handler includes Rheem's PlusOne® Refrigerant Detection System™, and the condenser uses the service-friendly Classic cabinet. It's cooling only, with optional Rheem electric heat strips.
Is a 2 Ton Air Conditioning System the Right Size?
Two tons (24,000 BTU/h) fits moderate cooling loads, often 2-bedroom homes, larger condos and starter homes around 900–1,200 sq. ft. as a general reference. Two homes with the same square footage can still need different tonnage.
