This DiamondAir system pairs the D1418ACL32A condenser with the D1418HAEAL32A multipoise air handler, AHRI certified at 14.3 SEER2 (#218350139). It runs on R-32, a low-GWP A2L refrigerant, and the air handler includes a factory-installed R-32 leak sensor that shuts down the compressor and electric heat if a leak is detected. It's cooling only, with optional 5 or 8 kW electric heat kits.

What happens if the D1418HAEAL32A detects an R-32 leak?
The factory-installed sensor stops the compressor and shuts off the electric heater, while the blower keeps running to dilute the refrigerant. The system resumes about 5 minutes after refrigerant is no longer detected.
Does the D1418HAEAL32A come with an air filter?
No. DiamondAir states the filter is not factory installed, so an external return-air filter or filter grille is required. Don't double-filter the return or filter the supply.
