These systems combine an energy-efficient electric heat pump with a powerful natural gas or propane (LP) furnace, all within a single outdoor cabinet. During mild conditions, the heat pump maintains comfort efficiently. When temperatures fall, the system automatically switches to gas heat for reliable warmth.
