The fully insulated coffin box is ideal for use in tight spaces or installation scenarios that require return air duct to be installed on top of air handler box versus side or back mount. Prefect for garages and other unconditioned spaces. Constructed out of 24gauge G90 Steel and R-6 1.5" Antimicrobial Ductboard holds up to 300lbs.

We decided to do away with the one thru-wall wooden box type of central return air idea that was near the floor in the hallway.  We now have returns in the ceiling throughout the home and the Coffin Box made that task a bit easier to accomplish.  It made the install quicker and provided a clean looking finished installation in the garage.
