The Kramer KL6E035DDASC is a low-profile electric-defrost unit cooler for low-temperature walk-in freezers. It delivers 4,000 BTUH on R448A or R449A refrigerant at a -20°F saturated suction temperature and a 10°F TD, moving 800 CFM with one electronically commutated fan motor. Sold as the evaporator only, it completes a walk-in freezer system when matched with a Kramer low-temperature condensing unit.

Capacity, Defrost, and Matched Condensing Unit

At -20°F SST and a 10°F TD the KL6E035DDASC produces 4,000 BTUH on R448A or R449A (3,500 BTUH on R404A), suited to a walk-in freezer held near -10°F. Freezer coils frost faster than off-cycle air can clear, so this unit uses timed electric defrost — about 1,125 watts of heaters on a 230V circuit — rather than air defrost.

This is the indoor evaporator only. To build a complete walk-in freezer system it pairs with a matched Kramer low-temperature condensing unit — the KL6E035DDASC is factory-matched to the 1.3 HP KFO130L4SDA and the 1.5 HP KFO160L4SDA condensing unit.
