For use with Straight Cool Electric Bard unit 1.0 ton W12AAAAA
With the use of a Bard Economizer it allows the unit to use outdoor air for cooling, provided the ambient air is below a certain temperature and the humidity is below a certain percentage. This type of cooling is often "free cooling" because it cools the building without the use of energy required to run a compressor. A Bard Economizer uses a fully modulating damper actuator which controls intake/exhaust in order to obtain and maintain a factory minimum set supply air temperature. The economizer can also be programmed to a minimum ventilation based on a 24V signal to satisy fresh air ventilation. With this Integrated Differential Enthalpy Economizer save yourself some money on your utility bill and extend the life of your system! Also includes a Honeywell W7220 to fully control the Economizer functionality. Please note a low ambient kit is required for low pressure compressor operation as well as a 2 stage cooling thermostat.
