Due to frequent mishandling of our compressors by parcel carriers (UPS/FedEx) we offer the option to have our technician braze close the openings of your compressor to prevent oil from spilling out in transit and causing damage and frustration further delaying your AC repair. The copper caps can be simply unbrazed by your technician. This is not hard to do and is common practice in the field to unbraze or "un-sweat" fittings. We are happy to provide proof of purchase to prove to you compressor was brand new and not installed upon request. If you do not choose to have your compressor opening brazed closed we will mail to you replacement oil at no charge if leaked in transit; HOWEVER we will not replace the compressor.
