I wanted to integrate my Daikin FDMQ into my existing Nest thermostat. That should work as this interfaces with smart thermostats right?
Wrong. It only interfaces with Honeywell and Ecobee thermostats for now. It doesn’t seem to actually use the thermostat wires for triggering heating or cooling or it only does after you link you smart thermostat account. Which is weird.
The manual feels like it’s missing about 3 pages

On the plus side it has WiFi and the app works well and they seem to be updating the app every couple months unlike the other Daikin WiFi app.
