Hurricane Strength Equipment Pads designed to Florida's tough standards!

Overview

Designed specifically for the hurricane prone regions of Florida and the Gulf Coast, the CladLite? Hurricane pad meets stringent local code requirements for wind resistance. Heavier than a normal concrete pad, this pad provides sufficient weight to meet code. These pads have been designed specifically to meet the intent of the Florida Building Code, Chapter 16, with respect to wind resistance. Method of attachment tested per ASCE 7. CladLite? Hurricane pads are suitable for all 130 mph and most 150 mph installations. For certain taller equipment, the CladLite? Hurricane T pad is needed. CladLite? Hurricane pads have been declared by the Florida Building Commission to be an acceptable alternative material to solid concrete slabs for use in specific applications from Tallahassee to Miami. Approval of the pad is within the discretion of the local building inspector. DCA02- DEC-183.

Features

  • Steel reinforced
  • 9,000 PSI fiber-concrete
  • Much lighter than solid concrete
  • CladLite? Hurricane pads keep units from sliding or blowing over in 150 MPH winds when properly attached
